| The history of our delicate
olive oil begins in the 1999, in a 40-hectare field under the sunny
mountain side of the Curacaví valley. In the year 2000, a small
olive mill was built, which by the following year had already begun
to process the first harvest from our own plantations. Two years
later, in September 2003, with the experience of having polished
the productive seal of our oils, we decided to expand this project.
In order to do this, an 800-hectare field named “San
Mariano” was bought. Located in the Maipo valley,
province of Melipilla, there we currently have 230 planted hectares.
In the beginning of 2005, we included the “Las Damas”
estate to our company, a 455 hectare field located in the Colchagua
valley, a few miles from the coast.
By the end of 2009 over 600 hectares of olive plantations will
cover the Farms of “San Mariano” and
“Las Damas”.
